We have exciting News to share!

As from the 4th of July 2020 we are happy to say we are able to welcome back our customers to inside seating at the Tearoom and Deli Bar as well as outside seating in Penzance.

But, it will be slightly different. Due to government guidelines we have to implement a few new rules: we have fewer tables, we have a reasonable time limit on the each table, only people from no more than “2 bubbles” can sit together with a maximum of 6 customers per table at any one time.

We need to ask for contact details for track and trace purposes. We have also been advised to keep our toilet closed to the public in Helston while in Penzance we can open it up but only to customers dining in as this will help minimise the risk of contamination.

We will ensure you are all looked after to the best of our ability at all times, all we ask in return is for your patience during this new process.

Great news is the great coffee and delicious  fresh food hasn’t changed other than a few tempting additions to our previous menu!

We are offering our full menu to customers who will be dining in as well as keeping our fabulous, new takeaway menu, for which pre-orders for takeaways are advisable and preferred but not essential.

Don’t forget our Roast on the Coast on Sundays where you can book to dine in the Deli Bar from 12pm on Sunday or if preferred, we can deliver direct to your doorstep anytime after 5pm on Sundays.

From the 4th of July our opening times are:

Hellys Tearoom (Helston) – Thursday to Saturday 9am-2pm

Hellys Deli Bar Cafe (Penzance) – Wednesday to Saturday 9am-2pm and Sundays 9am-4pm

Hellys is a family run business which was first established and still operating as Hellys Tearoom in Helston since 2015.
It’s sister location being Hellys Deli Bar Cafe in Penzance was launched on November 22nd 2017.

Stopped here for a spot of lunch on a wet windy day looking around Penzance was met with a very warm greeting. We ordered the roast dinners and omg arguably the best roast dinner I’ve ever eaten, gravy and potatoes were amazing not to mention the Yorkshire pudding. We also had to try the home made crumble for pudding was as good as the roast, we even bought some cake to take home if you’re in Penzance and hungry this is where you want to go.

I loved everything about this place. The staff were young and helpful and professional. The food was perfectly cooked (and in massive portions). The menu was everything you could want on a cold rainy weekday in mid December. This is the best place ever for brunch.

Had lunch here yesterday & I have got to say it was absolutely lovely.
The sandwiches were choc full of filling, of such good quality. The side salad came with a rice dish & a bean dish that was absolutely delicious.
The staff were very friendly & helpful & catered to my sons request without a problem.
Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Penzance.
